Buying Neopoints can be fun, for a few dollars, you can really boost your Neopet really fast, or get that Battledome item you've really wanted for a looong time.

But buying Neopoints can be complicated. Technically you are not supposed to be buying Neopoints. There are ways to get around this ban, if done carefully, there should be no problems.

However, there are many NP selling sites out there. There are three major factors you need to know:

1) Make sure the site is not a scam. How can you tell? One way to tell is if they are selling NP's for a lot lower than the normal rate. ANother way to tell is if they have a very simple site that provides very little information.

2) Even if you find one that is not a scam, you also want to find one that will give you the best rate and won't overcharge you. Normally, the more NP's you buy, the less the rate will be.

3) What kind of neopoints will you be buying? You want to be buying from someone who has gotten his/her NPs in a legitimate way. You don't want to buy from someone who has stolen the neopoints from another user or has done things that can get them banned. Because then, the NPs that got sold to you are tainted and you might get banned also if the other guy gets caught.
